I think that autistic minds are like a firework and well, I think this because normally our brains are just telling us lots of different things and they quite easily get overwhelmed.

When this happens and our brain is getting overwhelmed, then it like pops like a big firework.

But while you're feeling calm, it's just flying through the air.

Do you feel the same like me?

It’s good to know that, Autistic minds need a little time now and then.

Like a little break because sometimes autistic minds like mine can get too overwhelmed with information, And normally that can make you end up feeling sad or worried.

In the worst case regretful more regretful actually.

Why regretful?

Well, because you'd be told so many things at some point and you can’t process it all.

So its that, if you have the option to go to it or the first one you processed, you’ll probably be like I regret using that one to go here”. Because you didn’t have enough time to process all the information.

That's why, but that is in the worst case usually.

What would I like people to understand?

That if you give autistic minds a little brain break now and then, they can process everything that's happening.

So brain breaks are a good way to split things up in the day.

These are like the barriers between, like the barriers between the parts of the day to stop the firework from zooming off.

So if you do one thing, please give them a brain break before moving on to the next thing, that'll probably give them a chance to settle down and they won't get overwhelmed.

What would I like people to know.

Be patient.

And don't get and don't get grumpy at people who want to have a brain break.

Don't try and give them too much information too.

Because it's normally when I need a brain break is when I'm fed too much information. Remember, give people, give autistic people breaks from time to time and don't get grumpy with them or feed them too much information. And if they want to have a break that's normally the thing that gets them away from being overwhelmed and if not they could face some resentment. It’s not them being grumpy with you, they just need time.
